Create a Macro

Get Ready
Determine the actions you want your macro to run (it’s sometimes useful to write these down).

Begin
Double-click REC in the status bar. The Record Macro dialog box will display.
Type a name for the macro. If necessary, fill in the Store macro and Description boxes.
Click the Toolbars button. In the Commands box, click the macro you are recording, and drag it to the toolbar or menu you want to assign it to.
To assign the macro to shortcut keys:
Click the Keyboard button. In the Commands box, click the macro you are recording. In the Press new shortcut key box, type the key sequence, and then click the Assign button.
Click the Close button to begin recording the macro.
Perform the actions you want to include in your macro.
To stop recording:
Click the Stop Recording button.
