Bill Perconti has B.M. and M.M. degrees from Bowling State University, Ohio, and a D.M.A from the U. of Iowa.  His mentors on saxophone are Joseph Bosoty (Cleveland, OH), Louis Marini Sr. (BGSU), Galan Kral (Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, Ohio), and Ronald Tyree (Iowa).  Additional study in conducting was accomplished from James Dixon (Iowa).
