Perconti is Professor of Music at Lewis-Clark State College, in Lewiston Idaho, where he teaches a variety of courses in Music and the General Education core curriculum, including Music theory, Conducting, Jazz Band, Music Survey, and Introduction to the Fine & Performing Arts.  Under his direction the LCSC Jazz Band is a nine-time winner of the Open Division at the Hampton Jazz Festival, pulling down both Adjudicator’s Choice and Outstanding Band awards.  The Jazz Band has performed at jazz festivals, education conferences, schools, and community programs throughout the Northwest.  Perconti also commissioned and premiered Take One by Count Basie composer Sammy Nestico, written for the LCSC Jazz Band and now published by Jensen.
