Electrical Apprentice Registration begins August 1st

Our electrical apprentice program includes four (4) years of theory training (576 total hours). Students have the option of completing their theory training in the classroom(2 evenings per week) or through correspondence. Year 1 electrical apprentice is also offered online for students who prefer online coursework. 

Each year of training is delivered in two (2) semesters.  Fall (72 hours of training for classroom).  Spring (72 hours of training for classroom). Apprentices have a short summer break between each year of training.

Continuing Education Courses

Bonding vs. Grounding

Are you an Idaho Journeyman electrician who needs to obtain continuing education instruction hours? This 8 hour course is approved by Idaho Department of Building Safety and will meet the industry related CEU hour requirement for your license.

Topics include the purpose of grounding and its operations, system grounding versus circuit grounding, location of grounding connection, enclosure grounding, equipment grounding, methods of grounding, and bonding of services and transformers.

***Eight hours of Idaho Journeyman CE credit***
