CNA

CNA Online/On Campus

The hybrid version of CNA training allows you to complete the theory portion of the course online while attending the skill labs on campus. Students must also attend 40 hours of clinical training at facilities across the region. Basic computer skills and high-speed internet access required. Upon successful completion of this course, students must pass Idaho required skill and written exams to be placed on the Idaho CNA Registry. Exam fees are not included in course costs. Hours: 54 classroom/lab, 44 online, 40 clinical. 

CNA’s work under the supervision of a nurse and provide assistance to patients with daily tasks.  As a CNA you are responsible for basic care services such as bathing, grooming, feeding patients, assisting nurses with medical equipment and reporting vital signs. You will provide patients with important social and emotional support and nurses with vital information on patients conditions.

Upon successful completion of a CNA course you must take both a skill and written exam to be placed on the Idaho Nurse Aide Registry.
