CNA

CNA’s work under the supervision of a nurse and provide assistance to patients with daily tasks.  As a CNA you are responsible for basic care services such as bathing, grooming, feeding patients, assisting nurses with medical equipment and reporting vital signs.  You will provide important social and emotional support and vital information on a patient’s condition to nurses.

The CNA course is a pre-requisite for LCSC’s Nursing Program.  Pre-nursing students with certain medical backgrounds may qualify to challenge this course.

Upon successful completion of a CNA course you must take both a skill and written exam to be placed on the Idaho Nurse Aide Registry.  CNA Skills Testing Packet
