This 11 month program provides coursework online, hands on learning in labs taught on campus, and extensive internship hours in regional pharmacies. In addition to the basic training needed to work as a Pharmacy Technician, this course includes national certifications for IV, Extemporaneous Compounding, and the PTCB examination, which must be passed in order to complete the course. Hours: Didactic - 309 Lab - 105, Practicum - 380.



    • High school diploma or GED (verification required)
    • Math Requirement Covers math requirement needed for program. Can be waived with official transcript and syllabus showing "C" or above in college level math course or by completing Introduction to Algebra
    • Keyboarding Exam, By Appointment, $10
      Demonstrate 35+ words per minute keyboarding proficiency to meet pre-requisites.
