Phlebotomy Spring 2018 Course Dates 2/5-5/23

Phlebotomists take blood, collect specimens, and perform medical laboratory testing. They use specialized medical equipment to study samples collected.

During this course, you will complete 54 hours of class­room instruction which includes: basic anatomy and physiology of the vascular system, venipuncture, medical ethics, legal issues and much more. You will also complete 100 hours of hands-on training at a variety of clinical locations. Upon successful completion of this program, you are eligible to take the American Society for Clini­cal Pathology national examination.
