The Writing Center

The LCSC Online Writing Lab (OWL) is available to help students learn to be better writers. Because we believe that collaboration and peer feedback are powerful learning tools, we invite you to discuss your writing with trained peer consultants.

The focus of these asynchronous informal electronic conversations may range from getting started on a writing assignment, to developing ideas, to organizing essays, to writing for specific audiences and purposes, or to revising and editing a polished draft. Peer-consultants will never "fix" your paper for you; the goal of these exchanges is to help you develop your own strategies for improving your writing. All currently enrolled LCSC students are eligible to use the LCSC OWL. All services are free.
