The Scott, Foresman Handbook website:This website, especially useful to students enrolled in ENGL 101 and 102, offers sample student research projects, a research guide with prompts for topic development and inquiry, links to key research resources, a citation manager, and exercises for each chapter of the Scott, Foresman Handbook (required text for ENGL 101 and 102). The Purdue On-line Writing Lab:Considered by most OWL developers to be the state-of-the-art online writing lab, this site will lead you to a variety of useful resources for all writers, including other OWLs. Punctuation Made Simple:This website offers simple, practical explanations for how to use colons, semicolons, commas, dashes, and apostrophes. HyperGrammar:An electronic grammar course with instruction and exercises developed by faculty and the Writing Centre at the University of Ottawa.
