The online application takes about 10-15 minutes to complete and is free to submit. Be prepared to create a 'Be a Warrior' account before you begin the online application. This will allow you to log back in any time to complete the online application, upload admission documents, and check your status.
Wondering what it takes to be accepted? See our Admissions Standards here!
Academic students under 21 years of age should submit either an ACT or SAT score. Official scores for the SAT (code: 4385) or ACT (code: 009200) are sent directly from the Collegeboard (SAT) or ACT website.
Academic students over 21 years of age are not required to submit test scores for admission. However, it is recommended that you take the LCSC Placement Exams for course registration.
Take a look at our Placement Test Flowchart to see which test you should take.
If you graduated from high school, ask your high school to send your official transcript to the LCSC Admissions Office: 500 8th Avenue Lewiston, ID 83501.
If you enrolled in any college courses while in high school, those transcripts must be submitted as well.
If you received your GED, official scores need to be sent directly from the GED Testing Service.
Official transcripts must arrive in a sealed envelope or in official electronic format from the issuing institution to be valid. Photocopies of records are not official.
*You can be tentatively admitted off unofficial or working transcripts. Unofficial transcripts may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Unofficial college transcripts must include your full name, institution, grade points, credits, and grade point average. Working transcripts indicate you are currently enrolled in classes. After your grades and/or degree are posted, you will need to have official transcripts sent to the Admissions Office. Full admission will be granted once we receive all official transcripts.
When you finish your application, feel free to check your application status.
Once all admission documents are received, you will be notified of your acceptance in one to two weeks. After receiving your acceptance letter, you should check out the admitted student process.
You will receive notification of your admission status (i.e., accepted for regular, tentative, or provisional admission, probation, and denial) via mail as soon as we receive all admission documents from you.
Decisions on completed freshman applications are made on a rolling basis. Normally, this process takes about one to two weeks but can take up to four weeks depending on the volume of applications that are being received at that time. If you are accepted, check out our Already Admitted website to check out what's next.
Check out our Admission Standards here. Notice that the standards vary for academic degree-seeking applicants and career and technical education degree-seeking applicants and by age.
Please note that if you are a high school senior who plans on starting Fall 2021 and majoring in an academic program, the ACT or SAT is not required for admission. However, an ALEKS math test and Writing Placement Exam are required for course placement.
Career and Technical Students will need to take the ALEKS math test and Writing Placement Exam.
Not all of our students come from a traditional high school background. We're excited you're interested in LCSC, so check out our Admission Standards here.
All financial aid forms and applications can be accessed through the Financial Aid website. We highly recommend submitting a General Scholarship application. You will also want to submit your FASFA (FASFA school code: 001621), which will determine your eligibility for federal and state aid. You should submit all financial aid forms and applications by our March 1st priority deadline for priority consideration.
Have questions about financial aid? Visit our Financial Aid FAQ website.
As a freshman, you are not required to live on-campus, so choose what will work best for you! On-campus housing and assignments are based on the date deposits are received. Once on-campus housing is full, students can continue to apply and be placed on a waitlist. Visit the Residence Life website to learn about on-campus and some off-campus options.
If you have questions about housing, please contact Residence Life at email@example.com or (208) 792-2053.
