From recruiting top students to planning events, every year alumni donate their time and talent to Lewis-Clark State College. As volunteers serving the college community, their work builds alumni ties and supports students – and plays a critical role in sustaining and strengthening the L-C mission. 

Alumni Board of Directors

Alumni Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday during months of January, March, May, September and November, 5:15 PM, Activity Center Conference Room (unless otherwise noted)

The LCSC Alumni Board of Directors represents the Lewis-Clark State alumni community by overseeing and supporting various programs and events. The LCSC Alumni Board of Directors is dedicated to the goal of strengthening bonds between the College, its students and its graduates. The board serves as a voice for the LCSC alumni community.

Alumni Development (Annual Fund, Board Giving, Alumni Awards Event)

Chair: John Blankenship

Meets on as-needed basis.

Purpose: The Alumni Development Committee shall oversee the recruitment, development and retention of board directors; will review annual alumni awards and seek out nominations for recognition; provide input and assistance with Alumni Annual Giving Plan; and work with board members in achieving annual board.

Events Committee 

co-Chairs: Jenna Kirk and Jamie Olson

Meets on an as-needed basis. 

Purpose: The Events Committee is responsible for assisting the coordination of alumni events and to promote the LCSC Alumni Association.

Alumni Outreach (Alumni Communications, Marketing and Alumni Partnerships)

CHAIR: Kim Tuschhoff

Committee meets fourth Monday of every month (September to May) at noon in the Activity Center Conference Room (unless otherwise noted).

Purpose: The Outreach Committee serves to build alumni participation, procure benefits for Association members, strengthen Association image, and enhance revenue generating programs. This committee approves and creates plans to increase membership, works to increase the number of active members in the Association, investigates effective revenue-generating programs, partners with Student Development Committee to provide outreach to LCSC’s future alumni, and investigates opportunities to promote the Alumni Association through outreach and marketing activities.

Student Alumni Connection (Welcome Back Events, Alumni/Student Events and Programming) 

CO-CHAIRS:  Eric Coffelt and KEvin Reynolds

Committee meets second Wednesday of every month (September to May) at 5:15 pm in SUB 225 (unless otherwise noted).

Purpose: The Student Development Committee is responsible for interacting with students, facilitating contacts and positive relations between students and the Alumni Association. Design, develop and evaluate opportunities for students to network with alumni and develop a plan for assisting students in building their own meaningful traditions at Lewis-Clark State College.
