  • Literature Through the Ages -- Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland: Mad Hatter Tea Party and Red Queen’ Throne Room, Immersion Theatre 1-4 p.m. – Presented by LC State Theatre Department and sponsored in part by Mad Hatter Tea Shop and Skalicky’s Sweet Sensations. Join student actors in this immersive theatre experience inspired by the popular novel by Lewis Carroll. Guests are encouraged to come in costume as their favorite literary character. The first 15 costumed participants will receive a take-home arts activity.
  • Mini Mosaics, a hands-on art activity with Tirazheh Eslami; Main Area. Sponsored by the Center for Arts & History. Show off your artistic talents and contribute to a public art project on campus.
  • Henna Demonstration; afternoon. LC State students Lina and Maliha will share the origins of their cultures’ henna practice and demonstrate popular designs. Sponsored by the LC State Center for Arts & History.

Music Performance - Olivia Awbrey

6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Olivia Awbrey is a songwriter based out of Portland and the rural Oregon Coast Range. A first-generation musician, Olivia has been performing since 2012 and releasing music since 2014. In 2017, Olivia founded Quick Pickle Records and released her first EP Fight or Fight. Her debut album, Dishonorable Harvest, was an overseas collaboration with My Bloody Valentine’s touring guitarist, Jen Macro, as well as a cohort of London and Portland-based friends. An old-soul folk songwriter with a modern indie edge, Olivia has played hundreds of shows in the last half decade opening for Japanese Breakfast, The Beths, Mal Blum, Fink, Jonathan Richman, and many others. Her music has been recognized in NPR, Flood Magazine, and Refinery29. As a recipient of grants from the Regional Arts and Culture Council in Portland, the Oregon Arts Commission, and the GRAMMY Foundation, Olivia tours regularly throughout the Pacific Northwest and the UK. She is fascinated with the musical process, from the beginnings of a melody through to vinyl production, so in true DIY fashion, she is currently casting vinyl by hand. Her sophomore album is forthcoming.

Art Battle® can’t wait to come to Lewiston! Grab your best pals and join us for a wonderful evening of creativity and community, a live painting tournament showcasing local artists and connecting Lewiston to towns and cities around the world! Come watch as artists transform blank canvases into beautiful pieces of art in just 20 minutes, and then help vote to determine the winner of the event! Music Performance - Charlie Sutton

2:00 - 3:30 p.m.

Boise musician and a North Idaho native, Charlie Sutton (Charlie and the Changelings, Curtis Sutton and the Scavengers) will be performing all original tunes. Sutton’s songs range from, country folk to swamp blues and surf. Sutton plays acoustic National Resophonic and Electric arch top guitars. He has performed on NPR and recently toured the PNW with Eilen Jewell. His latest album Trout Takes was released in March 2022 and has recently received positive reviews from Saving Country Music and Americana Music Show.
