Advising and Registration

All new and current students must meet with their advisor before every semester to plan out classes for the following semester.  Every student is assigned an advisor within their program.  Some advisors are faculty while others are full-time advisors for the program.

  • Students can find their advisor assignment within WarriorWeb under the Academic Profile tab.  Once located, students are responsible for contacting their advisor for an appointment to discuss registration for classes.
  • Meeting with an advisor means that they must have access to your official or unofficial transcripts in our system.  Without this information they cannot advise you properly.  Meeting with the Enrollment Specialist prior to admission should help to guide students to a proper degree program.

Students will utilize the Student Planning tool within WarriorWeb to register for all classes.  Training on how to use this program can be on a one on one basis with an Enrollment Specialist or through your advisor.

In order to register for classes students must make sure to complete the following tasks:

  1. Complete Conditions of Registration via WarriorWeb
  2. Advisor must release you to register once student has received advisor approval on classes
  3. There should be no holds on your student account
  4. Must be able to access and navigate the Student Planning tool- Instructions found here.
