Dr. Earles joined the faculty at Lewis-Clark State College in 2007 after completing a Ph.D. in sociology at the University of Oregon. She also holds an M.S. in sociology from the University of Oregon and a B.S. in psychology with a minor in anthropology from James Madison University. Â Her research and teaching interests cross several subfields in sociology, including environmental sociology, rural sociology, and the study of marriage and family. Â In addition to upper-division courses in these areas, she also enjoys teaching Introduction to Sociology, Current Social Problems, and Animals and Society as part of LCSC's General Education program. Â
