e-Learning Services Support

LC State utilizes the Learning Management System (LMS), Canvas.  The Canvas Coaching and Tutorials page includes:

  • Accessing Canvas
  • 24/7 Canvas Support

  • Canvas Training

*Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this room is not available during the Spring 2021 semester.

The eLS Work Room is a room in the e-Learning Services office suite (SGC 214) with a computer for faculty and staff use. The computer has Camtasia Studio and Snagit, along with a microphone for lecture capture. A webcam can be provided upon request. The computer also has Respondus 4.0 for uploading exams to Blackboard.

You must schedule with your instructional designer to use the Work Room.

e-Learning Services employs two Instructional Designers to provide instructors and staff with course design support and best practices for course content creation. The Instructional Designers provide support and consultation only; they do not build courses or create course content.

Quality Matters (QM) is a faculty-centered, peer review process designed to improve the quality of online courses and online components.  The multi-point rubric can be applied to existing online courses or used to guide the creation of new online courses.  Contact Angela Meek for more information.
