Canvas - Lewis-Clark State College utilizes the Learning Management System (LMS), Canvas.

Instructional Design e-Learning Services employs two Instructional Designers to provide instructors and staff with course design support and best practices for course content creation. The Instructional Designers provide support and consultation only; they do not build courses or create course content.

Merge Courses in Canvas - Do you teach multiple sections of a course, but want to use just one course shell in Canvas? You can request to have your courses merged.  

You can submit merge requests by emailing helpdesk@lcsc.edu or calling extension 2231. 

Quiet Room Icon

eLS Work Room - The eLS Work Room is a room in the e-Learning Services office suite (SGC 214) with a computer for faculty and staff use.  The computer has Camtasia Studio and Snagit, along with a microphone for lecture capture.  A webcam can be provided upon request. The computer also has Respondus 4.0 for uploading exams to Canvas.

NOTE! The work room will be OFFLINE during the summer 2020 semester, due to social distancing protocols. 

 Qm Logo Quality Matters - Quality Matters (QM) is a faculty-centered, peer review process designed to improve the quality of online courses and online components.  The multi-point rubric can be applied to existing online courses or used to guide the creation of new online courses.  Contact Angela Meek for more information.
