Enrollment in the Bridge Pathway Program at Lewis-Clark State College allows students the opportunity to take a college level course in the area of their choice, while simultaneously receiving full academic and language support. This program is ideal for anyone wishing to study at Lewis-Clark State College, but has not quite met the English Language proficiency standards for college acceptance. Successful completion of the Bridge Pathway Program guarantees admission to our general college degree programs at LCSC.
In addition to comprehensive academic and language support, Bridge students enjoy guided cultural experiences. These custom experiences are designed to introduce students to United States culture, social practices, fun and entertainment!
Students must meet the language proficiency requirements for Bridge, which can be found here. We do not allow testing upon arrival.
Our program is taught by highly-qualified teachers with master's or doctorate degrees. All teachers are encouraged to participate in frequent professional development activities and contribute to the field of English-language education. Students who finish our English langugage program can study for a degree at Lewis-Clark State College and the University of Idaho!
