Transfer Student Scholarships

A student who earns dual or concurrent enrolled credits prior to high school graduation and attends the first semester after high school graduation will be considered a Freshman for scholarship purposes and therefore ineligible to apply/receive Transfer Scholarships.

TO BE ELIGIBLE, STUDENTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING BULLETED SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS.

Community college out-of-state transfer student scholarship

Students who graduate from a Washington or Oregon Community College may be eligible for additional scholarship funding.  

  • Must be a new non-resident transfer student to Lewis-Clark State College
  • Must have an Associate Degree from a Washington or Oregon Community College
  • Must enroll within one year of graduating with Associate Degree
  • Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0
  • Must have an official transcript on file with an Associate's Degree posted prior to the beginning of the semester initially awarded.
  • Must be full-time (12 or more credits), degree-seeking student each semester
  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelor Degree Program
  • Awards are equal to out-of-state tuition
  • Renewable if criteria is met each semester (3.0 GPA wit h12+ credits)

Foundation Transfer Scholarship

This scholarship has been set up by the LCSC Foundation to assist Idaho resident transfer students who wish to complete their degree at Lewis-Clark State College.

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Full-time, enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree
  • Have acquired at least 60 credits
  • Must be a new, direct transfer to LCSC
  • Must have a recognized Associate degree from an accredited college other than Lewis-Clark State College
  • Preference:
    • Transfer students from: North Idaho College, Community Colleges of Spokane, College of Southern Idaho, Walla Walla Community College, Treasure Valley Community College, College of Western Idaho and College of Eastern Idaho

Students who are concurrently enrolled at LCSC are not eligible. Students who currently have an approved Consortium Agreement with LCSC are not eligible. Students are not eligible if they are receiving other LCSC merit based awards. This award may be renewable for a second year based on maintaining a 3.0 GPA and completion of 12 credits per semester.

A separate application is required and must be submitted by June 15 for Fall awards and December 15 for Spring awards.

2021 Spring Transfer Scholarship Application

 

Transfer Student Scholarship*

This scholarship has been set up to assist transfer students who wish to complete their degree at Lewis-Clark State College.

  • Must be a new, direct transfer to LCSC
  • Must have an Associate Degree prior to attendance at LCSC
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Must have a recognized Associate Degree from an accredited college other than Lewis-Clark State College
  • Full-time, enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester
  • Must have aquired at least 60 credits
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree
  • Preference:
