LEWISTON, Idaho - The 29th annual Confluence Grape & Grain wine and beer tasting event will be April 19 from 6-9 p.m. at the Lewis-Clark State College Center for Arts & History, located at 415 Main St. in Lewiston.
Confluence Grape & Grain is one of the signature events of the Dogwood Festival of the Lewis-Clark Valley and is sponsored by the LCSC Center for Arts & History and the LCSC Business Student Organization. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Center and the BSO’s Scholarship Fund.
The evening will feature a silent auction, live music by Eric Goodwin and Shania Rales, and catering by Jollymore’s: A Dining Experience. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample at least six select wines and microbrews in a souvenir glass. Tickets for more samples will be sold at the event.
Among the wineries participating in the event are Basalt Cellars, Clearwater Canyon Cellars, Colter’s Creek Winery, Dumas Station Winery, Jovinea Cellars, Lindsay Creek Vineyards, Merry Cellars, Potter Wines, Two Bad Labs Vineyards/Tammany View Winery and Vine 46. Breweries include Hardware Brewing Company, Paradise Creek Brewery, and Riverport Brewing Company. Other Pacific Northwest wines and microbrews will be available as well along with soft drinks and water.
Tickets are $35 if purchased in advance, or $45 on April 19. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the Center at 208-792-2247 by 3 p.m. on April 19. Attendees are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance as the event regularly sells out.
Confluence Grape & Grain is open to the public but attendees must be at least 21 years of age.
