Many students find it helpful to discuss personal and mental health concerns, as well as academic difficulties and career decisions, with a professional who takes the time to listen and understand. The Student Counseling Center (SCC) offers students the opportunity to explore personal concerns with a counselor dedicated to helping students help themselves in a supportive and confidential environment, utilizing a brief therapy model. The number of sessions varies depending on student need.
If the student seems at imminent risk to harm self or others call 9-1-1.
