First Year students move in on the Wednesday before classes begin. New Student Orientation is Thursday and Friday. Here is the Academic Calendar to learn the first day of each semester.
Returning students will move in on the Friday or Sunday before classes begin. No one is allowed to move in on Saturday, as the Residence Life staff participates in Opening Weekend Events that day.

For Spring 2021, move in for all students (new and returning) is January 15th. This is also the mandatory Covid-19 testing date. You must recieve a Covid-19 test before you will be given access to your dorm room. If you have a medical or religious excemption for this you must work with the Accessibilities office to have this approved.
Returning students have access to their building and room so they can come back any time starting the Saturday before classes begin, at 10 a.m.
Winter Break - The License Agreement students sign only includes the dates during the academic semester. Students do not have access to their room over the winter break. We do allow students to stay in their room for an additional fee. Contact Residence Life to inquire about staying during winter break, get access to a residence hall, and pay the additional fee.
Summer Break – Summer housing is available to current or incoming students. Students do not need to be enrolled in summer classes in order to live on campus for the summer. There is an additional contract and fee.
Students must move out of their residence hall room within 24 hours of completing their last final. The finals schedule is listed on the Registrar's website. These dates are published months ahead of time and there is plenty of time to arrange for travel back home.
