2023 Homecoming Schedule of Events

If you did not pre-order a shirt, you are able to purchase a shirt at the Alumni Booth during the hours listed above. There are a VERY limited number of shirts for purchase, first come, first serve. Small – XL = $12/ea

Flag Find
Each day during homecoming (Monday - Friday) two cards will be hidden in a secret location, one will be on the campus of LC State and one will be at a participating Beautiful Downtown Lewiston business.

Clues to where to find the cards will be posted on LC State Alumni Social Media accounts  - Instagram and Facebook. Once you find a card, bring it to the LC State Advancement Office (602 11th Ave) to receive a prize! 

Residence Hall Competition
Residence Life Halls are invited to participate in a week-long competition to earn points to be crowned the 2023 Homecoming Residence Life Hall Champion.  

Events include:

Residence Life Hall Decoration – Decorate your living spaces in the 2023 Homecoming theme – Rock n Roll. Residence Halls will be provided with a decoration starter kit and the creativeness is up to them!
Judges will travel to all participating residence life halls on Wednesday, October 18 beginning at 9a.m. Judging criteria includes:

• Creativity (1-low, 5-high)
• Incorporation of Theme (1-low, 5-high)
• Warrior Spirit (1-low, 5-high)

               Talkington Hall
               Clearwater Hall

Event Participation – check in on the Do More App at the following events: 

• Tue. Oct 17 | Homecoming Kick Off | 5 p.m. | Sub Amphitheatre  
• Wed. Oct 18 | Warrior Wednesday | 11 a.m. | Fire Lane outside SUB/WCC 
• Wed. Oct 18 |Warriors Got Talent | 7 p.m. | Silverthorne Theater 

The winning residence hall will receive an ice cream party in their hall on Sunday, October 22 at 8 p.m.  

Campus Office Competition
Decorate your LC State office space in the 2023 Homecoming theme - Rock 'n Roll. Campus departments will be provided with a small decorating starter kit and the creativeness is up to them!

Judges will travel to all participating locations on Wednesday, Oct. 18, time TBA.

The winning LC State office space will receive the title of 2023 Homecoming Office Decorating Champion. 

The winning campus location will receive a traveling trophy and a special treat for the whole office!

Beautiful Downtown Lewiston Window Decorating
Businesses in Beautiful Downtown Lewiston are invited to decorate their windows in the 2023 Homecoming theme - Rock n Roll. Judging will take place on Wednesday, October 18 and the winner will be announced at the LC State Volleyball game on Friday, October 20.

Performance Health + Wellness

Light Up Campus Decorating | 3 p.m. | Meet at Doks
Help hang lights and get campus ready for the light up campus event on Friday, Oct. 20 after the LC State Volleyball match.

Homecoming Kick Off | 5 p.m. | SUB Amphitheatre
Join the newest sport team at LC State, Dance, along with Warrior Volleyball to kick off the 2023 Homecoming festivities. LC State Rock Band will also be performing!

Dinner to be served outside by Sodexo.

Shopping Cart Races | 5:15 p.m., following Kick Off | Fire Lane Outside SUB
Three people are needed for a team – two people to push the shopping cart, while the other rides inside it over a track. Teams are encouraged to come up with a theme and wear costumes. Prizes will be awarded for speed, spirit and style.

Yard Games/S'mores | 7 p.m., following Shopping Cart Races | Talkington Lawn/Fire lane Outside SUB
Stick around after shopping cart races to play yard games and converse with fellow Warrior students. Enjoy hanging around the fire pits and making a s’more (or two).

Check out the clubs LC State has to offer, visit with departments on campus and learn about different degree offerings.

Join fellow Warrior alumni and friends for a happy hour at MJBarleyhoppers located in the Hells Canyon Grand Hotel. Appetizers provided!

Trigg Watson - America's Got Talent Magician | 7 p.m. | Silverthorne Theatre
Magician Trigg Watson, who was a semifinalist on season 18 of “American’s Got Talent,” will perform in the Silverthorne Theatre. Sponsored by the Warrior Entertainment Board.

LC State Faculty/Staff Alumni Lunch | Noon | Williams Conference Center
All LC State faculty/staff who are LC alums are invited to attend a lunch hosted by the Alumni Association. Faculty/staff will be thanked for giving back to their alma matter and have the opportunity to win some LC State swag.
