New Student Orientation

The purpose of orientation is to insure students who are new to our college are provided with the information to make a smooth and successful transition to our campus community.  At orientation we seek to inform our students while making them feel welcome and appreciated.

Below is a tentative agenda for the week of August 13-17, 2018. 

More information will be added as times and locations are confirmed.


Coeur d'Alene New Student Orientation Tuesday, August 14

Join us for New Student Orientation, as we share messages from our President and our Vice President for Student Affairs, as well as tips on how to be successful at Lewis-Clark State College. In addition we will be going into greater depth regarding the student services that LCSC has to offer at our Coeur d'Alene Center. Dinner will be provided.

Wednesday, August 15

Residence Hall Move-In Day 

9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Residence Hall Move-In (assistants available to help)
12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Info Session/Parent Session (required for residence hall students) 
SUB lower level for students  (WCC for families)
1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Residence Hall Move-In (assistants available to help)
8 p.m. Residence Hall Lobby Parties (Residence Hall Students Only)

Students are required to attend a welcome session from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Parents are encouraged to attend the reception/lunch during the same time. This session will especially be helpful for those families who will not be able to stay for New Student Orientation.
