New Student Orientation & Welcome Week



The purpose of orientation is to ensure new students are provided with the information to make a smooth and successful transition to our campus community.  At orientation we seek to inform our students while making them feel welcome and appreciated.

Important Upcoming Dates!

End of May:  Roommate information from Residence Life (for applications received by 5/1/20)

August 8:  Fall 2020 Admission Application Deadline (excludes students who have already submitted an application)

Thursday, August 13

Transfer/Adult Learner New Student Orientation program.

take care of any last minute business.

“Walk Your Schedule” Tour guides are available to show where
our classes and other important offices are around campus.

Coeur d'Alene New Student Orientation Tuesday, August 18

Join us for New Student Orientation, as we share messages from our President and our Vice President for Student Affairs, as well as tips on how to be successful at Lewis-Clark State College. In addition we will be going into greater depth regarding the student services that LCSC has to offer at our Coeur d'Alene Center. Dinner will be provided.

9am-3pm New Student Move In
3pm - 4pm Welcome, introduce staff, overview of next few days
5pm-6:30pm Dinner @ The Marketplace
7pm -9pm Lobby Party in Each Hall - Meet your neighbors, play some games, eat some snacks!

Students are required to attend a welcome session from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.  This session will especially be helpful for those families who will not be able to stay for New Student Orientation
