Musician and storyteller Henig to perform at LCSC on Nov. 2

LEWISTON, Idaho – Musician and storyteller Dan Henig will bring his adult style of entertainment to Lewis-Clark State College with a performance on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 8 p.m. at the LCSC Silverthorne Theatre.

His performance is free and open to the public, but because of the content, it is recommended for audiences age 18 and over.

Henning describes his music style as a soulful blend of pop and rhythm & blues, with lyrically-driven melodies. His success is amplified on YouTube, where his cover videos have more than 15 million views and 100,000 subscribers. His song “Gravity Bound” was featured on an episode of the CBS series “Life Unexpected.”

Additionally, Henig recreated three tracks for the PRMD Music “Cold Chilling-Compton” compilation album, which included “Hail Mary”, “Boyz-N-The-Hood”, and “Nuthin But a ‘G’ Thang.”

Originally from Ann Arbor, Mich., Henig became involved with music after a neck injury in high school ended his football career. Driven to succeed in the music industry, Henig moved to Nashville for a year to hone in on songwriting. Now, living in Los Angeles, Henig has teamed up with Cody Tarpley to create his most recent record, set to be released this winter.
