Be Paid For Sharing Your Voice

We're looking for student staffers!

Become a writer or photographer for campus' student-published newspaper, covering campus news and representing student views on local, regional, and national issues.

The Pathfinder is a student-run newspaper that strives to report on campus/student-related activities accurately and responsibly by:

  • Providing fair and sufficient information to allow readers to make informed decisions.
  • Serving as a forum for public debate and encourage dialogue among readers.
  • Providing news analysis of complex issues to aid in interpretation.
  • Educating readers about the roles of education, democracy, and free speech in a civil society.

Students write, edit, and layout seventeen issues of the student newspaper as well as submit various news articles to local community newspapers. Students will develop their writing abilities and editing skills by creating several articles.

The views expressed in articles, commentaries, and letters are those of the individual authors, and not necessarily the view of The Pathfinder staff.  Responsibility for the content of The Pathfinder is not assigned to nor assumed by the publication's advisor or any employee of Lewis-Clark State College.

Join us for our Pathfinder meetings Mondays at 3:30pm in SUB/CSL 225.
