The Vice President for Academic Affairs reports directly to the president and, in collaboration with the president and in consultation with faculty, is responsible for establishing and maintaining academic standards and for developing college-wide academic policies and procedures, as well as advancing the college role and mission.

The Vice President collaborates with other public institutions and the Idaho State Board of Education in the development and implementation of statewide higher-education academic policies.
