Jennifer L. James, BAS, CMA (AAMA), CPC

Jennifer joined the Lewis-Clark State family as a student earning her Associate of Applied Science degree in Medical Assistant and Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Technology.  She began teaching in the Administrative Medical Assistant program in August of 2017. She has many years of experience working in the Medical Field.  She has worked as a Certified Medical Assistant and Medical Biller/Coder.  During her time as a Certified Medical Assistant she had many job duties including medical scribe, transcriptionist, and medical receptionist.  In 2019 Jennifer took and passed the AAPC examination to become a Certified Professional Coder.  Jennifer enjoys working closely with her students to provide strong advising and support.
