About Marlowe

Marlowe Daly-Galeano (she/her) teaches American literature and interdisciplinary classes. She is the director of the Center for Teaching and Learning and the faculty advisor for the Ambassador Honor Society. She is also a 2021-2023 M. C. Lang Fellow at the Rare Book School at the University of Virginia. Her research interests include 19th-century American literature, women authors, regional studies, inclusive pedagogy, and the Alcott family.

Marlowe's scholarly work has been published in ESQ, The Concord Saunterer, Women's Studies, Syllabus, Arizona Quarterly, and Reconstruction, as well as in edited collections. Her creative work has been published in Alcott's Imaginary Heroes, The Blue Hour, Bone Parade, and Northern Cardinal Review.
