About Royal
Royal Toy is originally from Boulder, Colorado. He currently serves as the director of Pathways for Accelerated Certification and Endorsement (PACE) programs and is focused on the development of opportunities and providing access for all people who are interested in becoming teachers.
Dr. Toy holds an Ed.D. in Special Education with a minor in Statistics & Research Methodology. His masters is in Special Education – Teaching the Gifted & Talented. He is also passionate about Music & Art with a Bachelor’s in Music Education, minor in drawing, and an Associate degree in Graphic Design & Illustration.
He has also served as director of various summer programs for students (K-12) and continues to be active in national and international organizations through publication, presentation, and work on committees and in leadership.
