Head Athletic Trainer

Tracy is the head athletic trainer for Lewis Clark State College, and has also served as an assistant cross country and track coach since the beginning of the programs at LCSC. As the department’s head for sports medicine, she is responsible for the healthcare of all the Warrior athletes.
 
Tracy is a board certified athletic trainer and has served for Lewis-Clark State College for over 20 years. She is a member of the NATA and the Idaho Athletic Trainers Association. The latter of which she is currently serving as a board member. She served on the Idaho State Board of Medicine for Athletic Trainers from 2000-2008, including the chair for the first and last year.  Additionally, she is on a national championship committee for the NAIA and was named NAIA Athletic Trainer of the year in 2016 and 2022.
 
Tracy is a native of Lewiston and attended Lewiston High School, where she established several school records as a sprinter including state champion in several relays, the 100m and 200m. When she graduated in 1988, Tracy held six individual and relay records in track and several of those still stand today, including an 11.93 seconds in the 100 meters and a 24.97 seconds in the 200. Tracy ran track at Boise State University, competing in the 100, 200 and 400 meters as well as on relay teams. She graduated from BSU in 1993 with a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. She completed her Master’s degree from the University of Idaho in 2013.
 
Out of the athletic training room, Collins spends a lot of her time running to keep up with her daughters Kassie and Emily and all of their sports and activities. When she has time, she enjoys reading, photography, and spending time at the family’s cabin on the Selway River.
