Discussion on German police to take place at LC State on Nov. 21

LEWISTON, Idaho – An international discussion about police in Germany will take place on Nov. 21, at 10:30-11:45 a.m. in Meriwether Lewis Hall Room 220 on the Lewis-Clark State College campus.

Andreas Dickel, the director of the criminal investigation bureau in Bochum, Germany, will talk (via Zoom) about German police, focusing on police training and police-civilian relationships. Bochum, with a population of approximately 400,000, is located in North-Rhine Westphalia in western Germany.

The discussion, which is free and open to the public, is presented by the Justice Studies and Political Science programs at LC State.
