Fire Service Technology
Hone your skills and take your fire service career to the next level with an AAS degree.
Technical skill training and certifications are offered through fire departments. Once the required trainings and certifications are acquired, fire service technology credits can be transcripted. Along with the training and certificates they acquire, students will complete the General Education Core classes (3 credits written communication, 9 credits oral communication, 3-5 credits of math, 3 credits of social behavioral ways of knowing, and 3-5 additional General Education Core credits) and apply for an A.A.S. degree in Fire Service Technology. Completion of a Technical Skill Assessment is required.
