TRIO Talent Search staff are pleased to share the good news that LC State has received program funding for this school year.

Official confirmation arrived Sept. 16, 2025, and staff are working hard to make up for the delay in providing services. We will continue to update students, families and schools we work with. Please check your email regularly and respond promptly to texts, calls and emails so we can best serve you.

Talent Search mission:

LC State's TRIO Talent Search program helps make college possible for students whose families are on a limited income and whose parents didn't graduate with a four-year college degree. We serve students in grades 6-12, and individuals up to age 27 who are seeking a GED.

TRIO ETS is 100% federally funded. Nationwide, over 387,600 individuals are enrolled in 471 ETS programs. Our outreach serves Idaho schools in Grangeville, Kamiah, Kooskia, Lapwai, Orofino, and Timberline.
