TRIO Talent Search

LC State's TRIO's Educational Talent Search (ETS) program helps make college possible for students whose families are on a limited income and whose parents didn't graduate with a four-year college degree. We serve students in grades 6-12, and individuals up to age 27 who are seeking a GED. 

TRIO ETS is 100% federally funded. Nationwide, over 387,600 individuals are enrolled in 471 ETS programs. Our Clearwater Valley ETS outreach serves schools in Timberline, Orofino, Kooskia, Grangeville, and Kamiah, Idaho.

    • Time management
    • Organizational skills
    • Goal setting & achievement
  • Cultural trips & activities
  • STEM projects that incorporate families
  • Information on colleges, vocational and technical schools
  • Visits to area college campuses
  • Tutoring services
  • Career-development exploration & activities
  • Academic testing and preparation
  • Help applying for schools
  • Assistance with financial aid forms
  • Help with scholarship searches
