Emergency Planning and Safety Committee

The role of the Emergency Planning and Safety Committee (EPSC) is threefold:

  1. To coordinate overall campus emergency preparation, response, and recover in the event of an emergency situation;
  2. Promote campus community health and safety, mitigate occupational and environmental hazards; and
  3. Establish a communication forum through which safety issues can be discussed and addressed.

Committee membership consists of faculty, staff and students representing a range of institutional activities and functional areas.  Functional area representation includes:

  • Compliance
  • Security
  • Physical Plant
  • Risk Management
  • Residence Life
  • Information Technology
  • Communications and Marketing
  • Coeur d'Alene
