Lewis-Clark Normal School was founded by the state and established in Lewiston on Normal Hill in 1893. Over the next century, the name changed several times, finally becoming Lewis-Clark State College. Several lifetimes of work and development went into making LC State what it is today, and the 1893 Society recognizes donors for cumulative giving of $25,000 or more over a lifetime.

Impact: 1893 Society Members are the changemakers who elevate our students’ capabilities. They provide funds in perpetuity that provide the resources our scholars use to build a brighter future for Idaho, and the world.
