Bridge Pathway Program

Improve your academic English skills and prepare for your undergraduate studies at LC State!  Bridge Pathway students take specific general education courses as well as English support classes.  Students who successfully complete a semester of the Bridge Pathway Program are eligible for full-time undergraduate studies the following semester.  

Program Dates

  • Spring 2025: January 13-May 12 (Apply by October 1)
  • Summer 2025: May 25-August 6 (Apply by March 1)
  • Fall 2025: August 18-December 11 (Apply by June 1)

Arrival

Students arriving at either the Lewiston or Moscow airports will be met and transported to their new home away from home at no charge.

Housing and Activities

Bridge students stay with host families to better immerse themselves in the culture. Students may also connect with a friendship family they can join for local activities. Lewiston is a wonderful place for outdoor adventures, such as fun on the river, horseback riding, bicycle rides, Fourth of July fireworks and more!

Bridge Pathway Program

Create Your Student Account and Apply for the Bridge Pathway Program.

Pay the $50 application fee with a credit card or by international bank transfer via Flywire or Pay My Tuition. This fee is non-refundable. Before submitting your payment, please double check that the name of the institution is Lewis-Clark State College.

Upload a copy of your passport identification page to your application or submit to International Program through Leapfile. 

Meet our English language requirements for Bridge program study and submit a copy of your English language test scores via Leapfile. 

Send all documents to International Programs Office with Leapfile. Please include a copy of your diploma. 

Submit a signed Certification of Financial Responsibility and copy of bank statements directly to your application or via Leapfile.
