LCSC faculty, staff awards presented at annual ceremony

Lewis-Clark State College President J. Anthony Fernández presided over the college's annual Employee Recognition Awards ceremony April 25 at the Williams Conference Center.
The President's Award for Excellence in Diversity and Cross-Cultural Understanding was presented to Chris Riggs, Professor of History in the Social Sciences Division. The H.L. Talkington Faculty Achievement Award was presented to Andrew Dahlquist, Professor of General Education/Mathematics in the Business Technology and Service Division. There were three recipients of the President's Award for Outstanding Teaching: Heather Henson-Ramsey, Associate Professor of Biology in the Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics; Teresa Nash, Associate Professor of Information Systems Analysis in the Technical and Industrial Division; and Scott Wimer, Associate Professor of Radiographic Science in the Nursing and Health Sciences Division. The Adjunct Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence was presented to Dan Rudolph, Adjunct Instructor of Biology in the Natural Sciences and Mathematics Division.
LCSC Foundation President Mike Ripley presented the Lewis-Clark State College Foundation Award to Elizabeth Scarano, Associate Professor of Nursing in the Nursing and Health Sciences Division.
Vikki Swift, Director of Human Resource Services, was the recipient of the Professional Staff Award for Excellence. The Classified Employee of the Year Award was presented to Charity Goodell, Technical Records Specialist with Student Health Services.
Faculty and staff retirees were also honored at the ceremony.
