LCSC TV show returns with new name – LCSC Connections

Lewis-Clark State College has resumed production of its public affairs television show. Formerly known as Inside LCSC, the new show is called LCSC Connections. The name reflects the relationships between the college and the communities it serves and ties into the school's official motto – "Connecting Learning to Life."
President J. Anthony (Tony) Fernandez and Vice President for Student Affairs Andy Hanson will alternate as host of the program, with occasional appearances by guest hosts. Guests from the college, the LC Valley, the state, and beyond will be interviewed on a broad range of topics. Fare for the show may be stories about students, faculty and staff, campus initiatives and events, the impact of state and federal initiatives on higher education, and how LCSC and local communities interact.
"We are very excited about this project," said Fernandez. "LCSC Connections will be an excellent venue for leaders in higher education, the community, business, and the State to discuss issues of importance to the citizens of Idaho."
Programs will be taped each month at the LCSC Media Services studio and the programs will rotate on Cable One’s Channel 13 (PEG Channel) in Lewiston with each show airing three times daily for a week. Air times are 6:30, a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 7:00 p.m., with a few exceptions due to City of Lewiston programming. The school is working to also have the shows air on public access TV in Coeur d'Alene and Boise.
The program will air through the end of the 2012-13 school year and return in the fall. It is a production of Lewis-Clark State College and a collaboration between LCSC College Communications, Media Services, and the Office of Student Affairs.
