LEWISTON, Idaho – Art Under the Elms, the signature event of the annual Lewis-Clark Valley Dogwood Festival, celebrates its 30th anniversary in April and artists are being invited to register for what promises to be a memorable three days on the campus of Lewis-Clark State College.
LCSC Continuing Education & Community Events plans and coordinates Art Under the Elms (AUE), which takes place April 25 - 27. The application deadline for artists has been extended to December 15.
AUE invites artists of all mediums to apply: ceramics, photography, glassware, jewelry, painting, textiles, and more. Over 100 booth spaces are available and artists are chosen through a juried process by an anonymous panel of five or more jurors with professional knowledge and/or background with the festival.

Art Under the Elms began in 1984 as a celebration of the arts in North Central Idaho and has become one of the largest outdoor festivals in the state. It attracts over 13,000 visitors to the LC Valley each year and features over 100 of the region’s finest artists, along with entertainers on two stages, family-friendly activities, and other attractions throughout the three days of the festival. More than just a community festival, AUE is also a significant fundraiser for LCSC Continuing Education and Community Events.
