Online application fee eliminated at LCSC

LEWISTON, Idaho - Lewis-Clark State College has eliminated any fees associated with the student application process, with the exception of a fee for international students.  In September, the college eliminated the $35 fee for hard copy applications and has now dropped the $5.25 reduced online application fee.  An application fee is still required of international students who must submit a separate admission application to the International Programs Office.

Nikol Luther, LCSC Registrar and Director of Admissions, said this is an additional step taken by the administration to make the college more accessible to future students.

LCSC had also previously eliminated fees associated with applying for graduation.  As part of the Office of Admission-Registrar’s “Be a Completer” campaign, students are encouraged to apply for certificates or associate’s degrees as soon as enough credits are earned, while still progressing toward their bachelor’s degree.  Students who have earned at least 65 credits and think they may be eligible for a lower level degree are urged to contact the Registrar’s Office at 208-792-2223 or [email protected].
