LEWISTON, Idaho - Effusio Dance Theatre will present two performances at Lewis-Clark State College’s Silverthorne Theater this weekend. They will be joined by guests Aletha Lynn of Yogatopia studio in Moscow and Footnotes Dance studio of Lewiston. The first performance is Saturday, March 1, at 7:30 p.m. Another performance will take place the following day, Sunday, March 2, at 2 p.m. Admission is $5 for all ages and tickets are available at the door.
Effusio has danced together for the past 10 years and performs in the Lewis Clark Valley and on the Palouse under the direction of Lauren Nichols. Effusio Dance is a local modern/contemporary performing dance company composed of community members from the LC Valley. Company dancers participate in weekly modern/contemporary dance classes and rehearsals throughout the entire year, performing at least once each year at the Silverthorne Theatre, as well as other dance venues.
