LEWISTON, Idaho – The ninth annual Lewis-Clark State College’s Women’s History Month will take place in March with 11 films, productions, and presentations scheduled on campus to commemorate the accomplishments and actions of women throughout history.
Justin Stover, a history professor at Idaho State University, will give the keynote address and kick off the month with his talk on “Revolutionary Women in Ireland, 1916-1923” on March 2, at noon in Room 100 of Meriwether Lewis Hall at LCSC. Stover teachers both undergraduate and graduate level history courses at ISU.
In all, there are seven talks, three film screening and discussions, and one musical production during March.
The complete schedule of events, all of which are open to the public, is listed below. All events will be held on the LCSC campus at Meriwether Lewis Hall, Room 100, unless otherwise noted, and all are free except for the Silverthorne Film Series.
