CTE career showcase event will be held at LCSC on Oct. 13

LEWISTON, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State College Career and Technical Education programs will hold a Career Showcase Event for area high school students in grades 9-12 on Oct. 13 at the college.

The event will show the different CTE options available to students and how to finance their education. The day will also include tours of the different areas and opportunities to meet and talk with instructors. Students will also take part in hands-on activities and meet with current students.

The day begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Williams Conference Center where there will be a short presentation on the affordability of two-year programs at LCSC. Students will then tour CTE stations in the Sam Glenn Complex, the Mechanical Technical Building and the Wittman Complex. Students will then return to the WCC for a question and answer session, and will finish with lunch provided by Sodexo. There will be scholarship and other drawings at the conclusion of the event.

LCSC has more than 20 CTE programs in the Business Technology & Services and Technical & Industrial divisions.
