Free safety training for industry and businesses will be held Oct. 31-Nov. 2 at LCSC

LEWISTON, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State College will host Safety Fest 2017, a free three-day safety training for industry and businesses, on Oct. 31-Nov. 2 at the Williams Conference Center on the LCSC campus.

The event is designed to meet the safety training needs of different businesses and industry in north central Idaho, including construction, contractors, agricultural, transportation, and others. The training can help improve safety performances at any business.

Course topics include aerial lift, thermal imaging for health and safety, asbestos awareness, excavation and trenching awareness, fall protection, first aid CPR, ladder safety, OSHA record keeping, safe driving techniques, and more.

Also, there will be a vendor showcase on Nov. 1 at 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the WCC.

All sessions are free, but pre-registration is encouraged. Persons interested can register by calling the LCSC Workforce Training office at 208-792-2388, or emailing [email protected].
