LCSC presidential search process to begin with Nov. 13-15 forums

LEWISTON, Idaho – The Idaho State Board of Education has announced it will hold a number of meetings and listening sessions at Lewis-Clark State College on Nov. 13-15 as it begins its search process for the next president of LCSC. The new president will succeed President J. Anthony Fernandez, who announced he will retire effective June 17, 2018.

The State Board is using the Association of Governing Boards (AGB) to assist with the search process. AGB and State Board chief communications officer Blake Youde will meet with various groups over the three-day visit. The State Board invites and LCSC strongly encourages all of its students, faculty, staff, and alumni as well as community members to attend and participate in the designated sessions, listed below.

The State Board of Education is charged with the general supervision and governance of the public educational institutions and the public school system of the State of Idaho.
