Play ‘Secret in the Wing’ to be held at LCSC this week

LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State College theater production of “The Secret in the Wings” will be held at the LCSC Silverthorne Theatre Wednesday through Saturday, April 18-21, with all performances starting at 7:30 p.m.

Directed by LCSC Theatre Instructor Jef Petersen in collaboration with students from his directing class, the play begins with a child and the frightening babysitter she is left with by her parents. As the babysitter reads from a book, the characters in each of the tales materialize. This production uses costumes, props, sets, and lighting in a way that capture the imagination, creating images and feelings that highlight the elemental and enduring power of these seven dark but funny adult fairy tales.

Tickets will be sold at the door and are $10 for general admission; $5 for seniors, veterans and members of the military; and free for LCSC students with valid ID cards. Some of these tales have mature themes and may not be suitable for young children.
