Plein Air exhibition to run July 19-Aug. 18 at LCSC’s CAH

LEWISTON, Idaho – The Rivers & Vines 5th annual Plein Air exhibition will be on display at the Lewis-Clark State College Center for Arts & History, located at 415 Main St. in Lewiston, on July 19 through Aug. 18.

The exhibit features works for new and veteran plein air artists who took part in paint-outs competitions and socials in Lewiston-Clarkston Valley vineyards and venues with river views during June 18-23.

There will be an opening reception for the artists starting at 5 p.m. on July 19. The competition winners will be announced at 6 p.m. during the social. There will be juried cash prizes of $500, $300 and $200 awarded.

The event is sponsored by Happy Day Restaurants and Visit Lewis Clark Valley. Partnerships for the exhibit include Chief Timothy State Park, Clearwater Canyon Cellars, Colter’s Creek Vineyard & Winery, Rivaura Estate Vineyards, and Vista House at Point A. Exhibit donors include Jan Vogtman and Clearwater Eye Clinic. Grant funding is through US Bank and artsIdaho.
