LCSC to hold information fair to celebrate women’s health and fitness day on Sept. 26

LEWISTON, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State College faculty and students in the Movement & Sports Sciences and Nursing & Health Sciences divisions are partnering to hold an information fair on Wednesday, Sept. 26, to celebrate National Women’s Health and Fitness Day.

Information booths will be open at 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and will be located on the east side of the main entrance to the Student Union Building on campus. Information will be available on heart, bone, and breast health as well as birth control. The event is free and open to the public.

Later that afternoon, a free PiYo workout class, which combines the practices of Pilates and Yoga, will be held at 4-4:45 p.m. in Activity Center West, Room 122. Lee Ann Wiggin, an associate professor in the Movement & Sport Sciences Division, will lead the class.
