LEWISTON, Idaho – Faculty, staff and students in the Lewis-Clark State College Movement & Sports Sciences and Nursing & Health Sciences divisions will join Warrior student-athletes to help students at two elementary schools cross the street safely during National Walk to School Day on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
The LCSC group will help students attending Whitman and Webster elementary schools in Lewiston cross the street safely on their way to school during that morning.
National Walk to School Day is observed annually on the first Wednesday of October. The goal of the day is to raise awareness and support for the health, community and environmental benefits of regularly walking or biking to school.
